Fontaine Center Tips

  • 1 of 24: Approach the entrance door cautiously, ready to snipe any splicers who are wandering around outside.
  • 2 of 24: When you go in through the sliding glass door, an RPG turret that's directly ahead of and above you will see you and open fire.
  • 3 of 24: Go through either of the two doors near the turret and lure the machine gun splicer in the rooms beyond to where the turret can blast him. (Unless you'd rather freeze and shatter him for a quicker kill.)
  • 4 of 24: After you find the few items in those rooms (including the box of buck on the kitchen counter), locate the stairs that lead down.
  • 5 of 24: Sneak down the stairs and kill the splicer down there, then look around to find an automatic hack tool on a desk underneath one set of stairs, a canister of napalm near the hack tool, a U-Invent machine, and a few misc. items.
  • 6 of 24: Go to the kitchen area and jump onto the windowsill, then carefully crouch-walk out the window and drop down to a spot with a first aid kit and EVE hypo.
  • 7 of 24: Return to the turret and go up the next set of stairs to reach the third floor.
  • 8 of 24: Look for a health station near the top of the stairs, then go down the west hallway to get to a door that isn't blocked.
  • 9 of 24: In the room past that door, look on the bed to the left to find some snacks and pistol ammo, then go freeze and shatter the nitro splicer who's hanging around the other end of the room.
  • 10 of 24: Search your way along until you reach the east room, where you'll need to beware of two play-dead splicers at the room's north end.
  • 11 of 24: The easiest way to handle them is to stay back and shoot them in the head with the crossbow, starting with the one on the right. (The one on the left will probably survive the first bolt, but the one on the right won't.)
  • 12 of 24: Loot the containers in their area, then go back to the main stair area and head up two more sets of stairs to reach the top floor.
  • 13 of 24: Turn left past those stairs and bash the boards over the doorway so you can go through and get the chemical thrower.
  • 14 of 24: Drop down through the big floor hole to reach a room with a play-dead splicer and several more good items.
  • 15 of 24: When you're ready to move on, you'll have to jump onto the windowsill and crouch-walk through, taking a bit of damage as you fall to the stairs below.
  • 16 of 24: Return to the top floor and go down the other way to find a door leading to some rooms with a couple of splicers and a security camera in them.
  • 17 of 24: Look in the rooms' SE corner to find that there's lots of weapons and ammo stored in a side area with a bent gate.
  • 18 of 24: What you need to do is get up on top of the wooden beam that's next to the gate and pull everything to you one at a time with Telekinesis.
  • 19 of 24: After that, check a nearby poster of Ryan for several crossbow bolts that you can pick up.
  • 20 of 24: Look under a desk near the destroyed security camera for an EVE hypo, then go down the nearby stairs.
  • 21 of 24: The most important thing to find down there is the "Power to the People" weapon upgrade machine along the east wall.
  • 22 of 24: Raid the nearby containers, then head to the north room to find a first aid kit and a Focused Hacker 2 engineering tonic lying around.
  • 23 of 24: After getting those, carefully avoid the floor hole (which just leads to an area you've already been to) and hack the safe in the corner.
  • 24 of 24: As you leave the building, watch out for new splicers who've appeared. Your RPG turret should be a big help in eliminating them.
