Bioshock 2 Hints

Gift Shop Supplies

  • 1 of 12: The gift shop entrance is on the east side of the museum's upper floor.
  • 2 of 12: Go up to its door to open it, then take cover to the left of it while helping your bots shoot the splicers who are in the shop.
  • 3 of 12: Just past the door, look to the right for some money on a chair, and to the left for a counter with a cash register and money clip on it.
  • 4 of 12: Jump over the counter to find two bottles of brandy on the floor, then go up the steps to the east if you want to waste money on a dumb fortune-telling machine. (As in the first Bioshock game, they all just say silly, useless things.)
  • 5 of 12: Next to the fortune-telling machine's raised flooring is another ammo vending machine. Hack it so that you get a free ammo pack.
  • 6 of 12: Look a ways to the right of the machine to find rivets on the floor next to a trash can, then go up the steps near them.
  • 7 of 12: Check the gift counter and the floor near it for cola, money, and .50 caliber rounds, then look to the right of the counter for a trash can.
  • 8 of 12: Look in the room behind the counter for an audio diary, cola, a creme-filled cake, and a safe.
  • 9 of 12: Be sure to quicksave before hacking the safe. They're the hardest things in the game to hack, and it's especially tough to get a blue-zone cash bonus from them.
  • 10 of 12: Kill the two leadhead splicers who appear near the gift counter after you hack the safe, then return to the lower floor and go down the stairs at its east end.
  • 11 of 12: Look past the stairs for a storage crate, then check the "DAMES" and "GENTS" restrooms for items.
  • 12 of 12: As you leave, watch for more splicers both in the gift shop and in the museum.
