Black Mirror II Hints

Search the ruins.

  • 1 of 9: To get this task, examine the three hotspots in the lighthouse area to get ghostly visions.
  • 2 of 9: After talking to Ralph, use the "ruins" exit to the right to find a large gate with a stone plinth near it.
  • 3 of 9: Examining the gate and plinth, you'll realize that to open the gate, you'll have to restore the four missing chess pieces to the plinth.
  • 4 of 9: After you get all four chess pieces, click on one of the stone plinth's holes to get Darren to say there must be a clue somewhere as to how to place the pieces.
  • 5 of 9: Return to the stone plinth and put the four chess pieces in the correct holes.
  • 6 of 9: The gate will roll open after the four chess pieces are placed. Go through it to find another area with a huge gate and a stone plinth.
  • 7 of 9: However, you won't have to worry about them for quite awhile. For now, look around for any signs of Angelina's presence.
  • 8 of 9: There's a rucksack to the left of the plinth. Examine it until you get a diary and a letter.
  • 9 of 9: NOTE: To get the "Find the first piece of mosaic" task, right-click on the message in inventory to read it, then click on the rucksack again.
