Black Mirror II Hints

Open the casket.

  • 1 of 5: Click a couple of times on the "jewellery box" that Darren got out of the drawer to learn that it has a combo lock that uses symbols instead of numbers.
  • 2 of 5: Right-click on the "documents" item in inventory to find an "aide memoire" page.
  • 3 of 5: Right-click on it to get the following four tasks: "Portrait of Sir Egmont," "The builder's oldest sister," "Bates' first name," and "The four nymphs."
  • 4 of 5: Finish all of them in any order, then return to Bates' room and click on the "jewellery box" to get a close-up of its puzzle screen.
  • 5 of 5: After you set the four symbols correctly, hit ESC to exit the close-up and get the casket's contents.
