Black Mirror II Hints
The 8 stone slabs.
1 of 5: Looking at the reproduction of the notepaper in the diary, you'll notice that there are eight drawings in a semi-circle that apparently correspond to the eight slabs.
2 of 5: Two of the drawings show doors, and there are two stone doors to the right and left. Maybe standing on those slabs will open those doors.
3 of 5: Click on the second-from-left slab and the third-from-right slab to see that's indeed the case. However, the doors close when Darren gets off of the slabs.
4 of 5: In the left side area, read the panel of text on any of the four big fancily-painted columns to get the "Riddles" task.
5 of 5: After you finish that task, go to the right side area and read the description that's left of the grand hall exit to get the "A manual?" task. (When you finish it, this task will count as finished, too.)
