I found a lift shaft! How do I use it to get out of here?
1 of 11: You'll have to figure out how to summon the lift.
2 of 11: If you examine the shaft and its fencing, you'll see a control panel, but clicking on it will reveal that it's broken. So one thing you need to do is find a control panel that works.
3 of 11: Another is to find out how to start the lift's engine. If you check the nearby engine room, you'll see that it's not running. Just clicking on the engine's control panel won't work since Samuel will refuse to try to start it because he doesn't know how.
4 of 11: In order to find a working control panel for the lift as well as instructions on using its engine, you'll have to find a way to get to the room with the lift's power generator.
5 of 11: The lift shaft that's just above the generator room has a working control panel.
6 of 11: You'll find that the generator control room itself is as dark as the storage room was when you first fell into it. No problem, though -- just find another local power-up gimmick.
