How do I find the power generator for the lift?

  • 1 of 10: It's in a secret room. (Or at least, a room that will *seem* secret due to the difficulty in finding it.)
  • 2 of 10: There's a trap door called a "lid" that leads down to the generator room.
  • 3 of 10: It's very hard to find, especially since it has a large and heavy object right on top of it.
  • 4 of 10: Check out the area map for a clue.
  • 5 of 10: The so-called "lid" is in the same room as the lift shaft...
  • 6 of 10: ...under that big barrel of oil.
  • 7 of 10: Click on the lid and then on the barrel to attempt to move the barrel.
  • 8 of 10: Unfortunately, it's too heavy for Samuel to lift or even push.
  • 9 of 10: Now the trap door is free of obstruction, but it still won't open!
  • 10 of 10: Now you can climb down through the trap door to find another lift shaft, and on down further to find the generator control room. Whew!
