What do I need to do with the stain on the tower wall?

  • 1 of 9: If you cannot zoom in for a close-up look, you'll first need to learn more.
  • 2 of 9: When you click on the symbol in the close-up, Samuel will say that he should "put it down" somehow.
  • 3 of 9: There's no pencil and paper handy. How else might you record the symbol so that you can carry it around with you and refer to it later?
  • 4 of 9: How about a photo of it? That would be better than a simple sketch, anyway.
  • 5 of 9: A camera would help.
  • 6 of 9: To load the film in the camera, go to the inventory bar, pick up the film, and click it on the camera (also in inventory).
  • 7 of 9: Now return to the stain close-up and use the camera on the symbol to photograph it.
  • 8 of 9: Ah, but now you need to figure out how to get your film developed! Who might know how or where to do that?
  • 9 of 9: Ask that film expert Robert about developing the film, and he'll say to try the pawn shop in Willow Creek. You can now travel to Willow Creek using the map, provided you meet several conditions that the game imposes on you in order for you to travel there.
