How do I get here?

  • 1 of 13: The Sanatorium will be added to your travel map when you've completed other tasks.
  • 2 of 13: First, you need to visit The Stonering and do some things there.
  • 3 of 13: Then you'll need to return to Black Mirror Manor.
  • 4 of 13: Look for Bates. He should be working in the kitchen.
  • 5 of 13: Ask him about Victoria.
  • 6 of 13: She's retired to her room upstairs and is resting. If you go up there and click the talk cursor on her door (which is on the same screen as Robert's study door), Samuel will choose to just let her rest. You need to give him an important, upsetting reason to interrupt Victoria's rest.
  • 7 of 13: Asking Victoria about James just gets an admission that James was William's illegitimate son.
  • 8 of 13: You'll have to ask her about something totally different to get the sanatorium added to the travel map.
  • 9 of 13: If you run out of conversation options, and still can't get to the sanatorium, you'll need to speak to someone else.
  • 10 of 13: The person you need to speak to isn't at the manor. Check out the map for other options.
  • 11 of 13: You'll need to travel to Dr. Hermann's house and speak with him about Robert.
  • 12 of 13: Now you can complete your conversation with Victoria back at the manor house.
  • 13 of 13: Victoria tells you to go to the sanatorium to find out anything you can about Robert's disappearance.
