The Black Mirror Hints
I'm in the secret (and highly moldy) area. Where's James' key?
1 of 7: Have you fully explored the two large rooms you can get to down here?
2 of 7: The first one has a machine over along its right wall with some cogwheels missing, and the second one has some stairs leading down into murky water.
3 of 7: You'll have to figure out how to get rid of the water in the second room.
4 of 7: The coggy machine in the first room is a pump that will drain the other area of its murky water. You need to get that done before you can find James' sacred key.
5 of 7: Once the murky water is gone, go down the steps that the water formerly covered.
6 of 7: Look for a small chest lying on its side right near the bottom of the steps.
7 of 7: It's the chest that James kept the key in. After picking it up, examine it in inventory to find the key. (Incredible what good shape it's in, given that it's been completely submerged in filthy water for years, isn't it?) Now you've got three!
