The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
What's your very favorite combat tip?
1 of 4: If I had to choose one, and if "building up your character's attributes and skills to 100 A.S.A.P." doesn't count, I'd have to choose using the Chameleon spell.
2 of 4: If you have a Chameleon effect on you of 80% or more, very few monsters will be able to see you and initiate combat. Also, when you alert them to your presence by attacking them, very few will be able to focus on you or chase you around very accurately.
3 of 4: The main Morrowind game has a misc. quest in the Gnisis region that can get you the Amulet of Shadows, which can be used to put 80% Chameleon on you for 60 seconds.
4 of 4: However, if you can afford it, it's much more convenient to enchant items with a constant Chameleon effect and wear them everywhere you go. See my tips in the main Morrowind hint file for enchanting items. Also see the following link for info on getting and using an item that'll give you a constant 50% Chameleon by itself.
