The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Hints
The Assassin
of 10: Now the evil Carnosaur wants you to assassinate poor, innocent Falco! I guess we should have seen this one coming a mile off.
of 10: Carnius said to go to the mining guard tower and find the stuff that was left there for you, so do.
of 10: The guard tower is at the west end of the colony, and has a big ramp leading up into it.
of 10: On the table will be a steel longbow, a special poisoned arrow, and a scroll that will temporarily add 100 to your Marksman skill, 60 to your Sneak skill, and put a 50% to 80% Chameleon effect on you. Hot stuff!
of 10: Pick up all those items, then stand next to the tower window to where you can see Falco and all the guards you hired in the previous quest off in the distance.
of 10: Equip the bow that was left on the table for you and go into fight mode in order to signal the distraction. (No other bow will work for the signal, but you can switch to your favorite bow after the signal is given.)
of 10: The plan is for Baslod to see your signal, run up and attack Falco, and then run away, drawing all of the guards after him and leaving Falco alone and unprotected.
of 10: Then you use the cool scroll and fire the special poisoned arrow at Falco from the tower window, killing him in one shot before the guards return.
of 10: Unfortunately, there are a great number of problems with this.
