Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Hints

When I try to leave, I am seen and killed.

  • 1 of 12: First of all, we need a distraction for the people on the ground.
  • 2 of 12: Perhaps if you had a way to get a little closer to the men, and spy on them, they might give you a clue.
  • 3 of 12: Notice the stone statue?
  • 4 of 12: Perhaps there is a way to make the stone statue more frightening.
  • 5 of 12: It looks like there has been a fire altar of some kind here before.
  • 6 of 12: A small fire, with smoke, could make the statue scarier.  If we only had something we could burn...
  • 7 of 12: You'll need to place the bird's nest on the stone statue, with the remnants of a previous fire.
  • 8 of 12: How can you get the nest to burn?  What source of fire do you have?
  • 9 of 12: There are no matches in your inventory, but there's something else that will do the trick -- especially on a bright, sunny day like this.
  • 10 of 12: Use the magnifying glass to start the nest on fire.
  • 11 of 12: Once again, we're in a timed sequence.  During the cut scene, the 4 action buttons will disappear.  But be ready immediately, as soon as they reappear.  You won't have much time.
  • 12 of 12: The only way that George will make it to Harry's Jeep is to Run.  (Hold down the left Shift key while navigating George to the Jeep.)  Don't wander around, but go straight to the Jeep.  Once there, press "S" to jump in the Jeep.  You may have to try this a few times; thank goodness for the game's "rewind" capability.  Once George has escaped the Congo, he will travel next to Glastonbury.
