How do I use Proky's computer?

  • 1 of 17: It's in his office. See the following link to learn how to get there.
  • 2 of 17: Try left-clicking on the computer to use it.
  • 3 of 17: Nick says he has to do something else first.
  • 4 of 17: Do you have any computer equipment in your inventory?
  • 5 of 17: You'll have the External Floppy Drive from the bedroom. (The game won't let you get to the office without it.)
  • 6 of 17: So choose it from inventory and click it on the computer to connect it up.
  • 7 of 17: Now you can click on the computer to use it.
  • 8 of 17: As long as you can figure out its access code, that is.
  • 9 of 17: Click on the computer and enter RGBBP (not necessarily in capital letters) and click on "Verify."
  • 10 of 17: You're in! Now you can read Proky's secret computer files about his work.
  • 11 of 17: But you'll also need a copy of them.
  • 12 of 17: Notice that COPY is one of the available commands.
  • 13 of 17: So try entering it on the command line and clicking on "Execute."
  • 14 of 17: In order for that to work, you'll need the 3.5" Floppy Disk.
  • 15 of 17: Choose the disk from inventory and click it on the disk drive to insert it.
  • 16 of 17: Then reenter the access code and try the COPY command again.
  • 17 of 17: Now exit the computer screen and click on the floppy to take it back. (If you right-click on it in inventory, Nick will see that it's got a virus. Oh, well. There's no way to prevent that.)
