Conspiracies Hints

I got out the door, but was shot in the back!

  • 1 of 19: Did you notice that you had a few seconds to move around right after you ran out the door?
  • 2 of 19: So move!
  • 3 of 19: You need to get under cover fast, so try running toward the dumpster.
  • 4 of 19: Then restore your save and try running for the dressing rooms next time.
  • 5 of 19: Then give up on that and realize that you'll die the instant you make a move in any direction.
  • 6 of 19: This is one of those situations where you need to have done something else first.
  • 7 of 19: This one doesn't involve having a specific inventory item, though, so it may be a little harder to figure out.
  • 8 of 19: Think about the fact that there's no sufficient cover to hide behind near the door.
  • 9 of 19: Say, it would be nice if all those boxes stacked at the other end of the alley could be moved to make a convenient wall of boxes next to the door!
  • 10 of 19: So figure out how to move the boxes.
  • 11 of 19: The teleguided clark (mini-forklift) to the right of the dumpster is the gadget you need.
  • 12 of 19: Once your box wall is in place, save your game and try meeting with Tony again.
  • 13 of 19: *Still* instant death no matter what you do! How irritating!
  • 14 of 19: It turns out that crouching behind the boxes isn't enough to hide Nick. You need something a bit better.
  • 15 of 19: Did moving all those boxes uncover anything interesting?
  • 16 of 19: That manhole cover is the key to it.
  • 17 of 19: If it were loosened, Nick could hastily duck down the shaft beneath it to hide.
  • 18 of 19: *Now* you can finally meet with Tony without being kidnapped or zapped.
  • 19 of 19: NOTE: When you escape and run out the door, you do still need to move in the general direction of the boxes. If you head to the right, they'll still back-zap you.
