How do I relate the shield colors to the buttons?
1 of 10: There is another set of three colors that you have encountered in the game.
2 of 10: Do you remember the game that you played with Cavan? That game already provided one clue to this puzzle -- namely, the six gifts of Merik. There is another clue to be derived from that game.
3 of 10: On each turn in the game, how did you move?
4 of 10: The 3-colored die allowed you to move either 1, 2, or 3 spaces on each turn.
5 of 10: The three colors on the die were green, white, and red.
6 of 10: With a little imagination, you might be able to make a correlation with the gold, silver, and bronze of the shields.
7 of 10: When playing the game, the values of the three die colors were: red = 1, green = 2, white = 3.
8 of 10: How would that translate to the shields?
9 of 10: A rough comparison would be: bronze = 1, gold = 2, silver = 3.
10 of 10: You should now be able to determine the 3 numbers associated with the 3 buttons on each pedestal.
