I've captured the soulbug -- now what?
1 of 27: Remember the goal of the game?
2 of 27: You need to save Evany. How are you going to do that?
3 of 27: The people of Evany are suffering from the same thing that afflicted Athera. How was she healed?
4 of 27: The Healing Waters can save Evany. How can you get it there?
5 of 27: Remember the portal that was created earlier?
6 of 27: If you haven't already done so, return to the New Portal, and enter the control area.
8 of 27: The second portal you created inside the manhole should be showing an image of Evany.
9 of 27: Take a close look at the ceiling inside the manhole -- especially immediately over the portal to Evany.
10 of 27: Notice the odd pattern of curved lines on the ceiling?
11 of 27: You may recall seeing this pattern before in the area under the elevator at the Balial prison.
12 of 27: The floor in the area under the elevator opens and closes, like the lens of a camera.
13 of 27: So, it seems likely that the area directly over the portal opens in a similar way.
14 of 27: It just so happens that the portal to Evany is also directly underneath where the Healing Waters are currently flowing overhead. Now, if only you could open the hatch above the portal, the Healing Waters would pour through the opening, and fall through your new portal to Evany!
15 of 27: Did you pay close attention to the two levers in the room with the portal to Evany?
16 of 27: We've already used the one on the right. Notice the picture under the lever on the left?
17 of 27: The picture shows a pattern similar to the one on the ceiling.
18 of 27: However, that lever seems to be stuck. Maybe you need some help to pull it.
19 of 27: You won't find anyone to help you. So perhaps you could think about other possible sources of help.
20 of 27: If you had taken the time in the Balial prison to look at the windows under the elevator, you might have noticed something that could give you a clue.
21 of 27: The windows at the Balial prison elevator have a yellow-electric pattern on them...
22 of 27: ...which is similar to the yellow-electric pattern over the world of Evany (as seen through the portal).
23 of 27: If you've already looked inside the windows on each side of the Balial prison elevator, you would have also seen another clue.
24 of 27: When you look through the window at the elevator, you are able to witness the capture of a soulbug.
25 of 27: For some reason, when a soulbug is in the area, a vine reaches out from the yellow-electric "force-field" and grabs hold of the soulbug.
26 of 27: Since both areas -- the windows at the Balial elevator, and Evany (as seen through the portal) -- have the yellow-electric lines, perhaps this is a clue that the two areas have something in common.
27 of 27: Hang the soulbug cage on the lever and wait for the help you need.
