CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder Hints
How do I get started?
of 9: If you've seen the show, you know that Gil Grissom sets great store by logic and method. So be logical and methodical, and you'll do fine.
of 9: Start by taking a glance around the scene of the crime. Is there someone here who might give you a context for what you're seeing?
of 9: Go talk to the guy in the suit standing to the right to get an idea of what's going on. Then you can go gather evidence.
of 9: Start with the body; zoom in on it and see what looks noteworthy. Your partner will guide you in this with suggestions and instructions.
of 9: When you're sure you've gathered all the evidence on the body itself, look around the room. Look for interesting things like footprints and fingerprints, and things that are missing, like a pedestal without a statue.
of 9: When you've got everything in the room, the game flashes a sign that says "Location Searched." That means there's no more things to be picked up. But there is a way while you're here to get more information --
of 9: -- and that's by talking once more to the witness. After you've gathered all the evidence, talk to the witness one more time to see if he has any comments about what you found.
of 9: Is it time to analyze the evidence? You can if you want, but you might want to get the inside scoop (so to speak) on the body first. Go to the Morgue and ask Dr. Robbins everything there is to ask. In addition to giving you vital information about time of death and so on, he'll often give you more evidence, like bullets and the like.
of 9: And now it's finally time to go to the Lab and analyze evidence -- after which new information will come out for you to follow up on. And you're off and running!
