The Dig Hints

How do I get all of these doors with panels next to them open?

  • 1 of 8: Notice that there are four geometric shapes on the panels.
  • 2 of 8: Have you seen anything else with four shapes?
  • 3 of 8: There are a couple of rods sitting around here with four geometric shapes on them as well.
  • 4 of 8: You want to use the codes on the rods to open the doors.  Examine them in your inventory to see what the shapes are.
  • 5 of 8: Just copy the symbols from the rods onto the panels by pressing the buttons. Although I've been told that the rods are colored to match the doors, I couldn't really tell much of a difference between the colors on the doors, so I just matched the rods to the doors by trial and error.
  • 6 of 8: But before you can open the doors, you'll need to get power to this complex again.
  • 7 of 8: There's a power control center in the center of the Nexus.  Look for a ramp to take you there -- it's in the foreground of part of the Nexus.
  • 8 of 8: But you should still have problems getting one of the doors open -- it doesn't yet have power.  Read the next hint if you're having trouble.
