How do I solve the puzzle held by the student?
1 of 8: At first glance this puzzle looks like a stinker, but it's really not that hard. All you have to do is move the disks around till each disk is in its proper place and the picture is restored -- and if you really can't do it, remember the "skip puzzle" button.
2 of 8: Take a close look at the movable disks and the empty slots. Can you see where each disk is supposed to go?
3 of 8: Some of them are obvious; for example, the one with the orange Vs on it belongs in the slot with the orange fish at the lower right.
4 of 8: To put the orange disk in the right space, slide the disk with the wings on it down, then move the blue piece down, then the orange piece right, then the piece with the purple dot up, then the blue piece left, and then put the orange piece in its place. See?
5 of 8: Did you notice that the piece with the wings on it is now in just the right place? Shazam!
6 of 8: The final array will have the four colored pieces in their places around the sides of the puzzle, the winged piece at the bottom, and the two pieces with the purple gems in the middle. It looks like this:
