How do I get into the manager's office?

  • 1 of 9: Some sort of key would seem to be in order here. Unfortunately --
  • 2 of 9: -- the manager took it when the hotel was closed for the season. You'll have to find some other way in.
  • 3 of 9: Have you been upstairs yet?
  • 4 of 9: When you go into the bathroom, you get a journal entry remarking on the weakness of the floor and the room's position directly over the office. Any thoughts?
  • 5 of 9: Yes, it's wanton destruction. On the other hand, if it's a choice between that and freezing to death, maybe it's time to go looking for a sledge hammer. You'll find a sledge hammer in the garage when you finish the first hidden object scene in there.
  • 6 of 9: When you have the sledge hammer, use it on the weak spot on the floor. Two or three good hits later --
  • 7 of 9: -- you have a lovely hole in the floor and a huge geyser of water. Yikes!
  • 8 of 9: Now that the water is off, all you need is some way to make your detective comfortable about dropping ten feet into the office. Some sort of mattress might do the trick --
  • 9 of 9: -- and you can find one in the hidden object scene in the honeymoon suite, the first bedroom on the left here in the hotel. Shove the mattress through the hole in the floor, and you can now drop down into the office.
