Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints

Do my best to discover all the secrets of the letter addressed to Janos ....

  • 1 of 19: You'll get this objective right after finishing "Thoroughly search Janos's room."
  • 2 of 19: If you haven't actually picked up the letter from the inn's front counter, go do so now.
  • 3 of 19: Point the cursor at its two parts in inventory to get an English translation.
  • 4 of 19: Notice that the message seems obscure and guarded, and the first part mentions examining "the problem" under a different light.
  • 5 of 19: Maybe you should take that literally, and examine the letter under a different sort of light.
  • 6 of 19: There's nothing in the inn that'll help, so look elsewhere.
  • 7 of 19: Do you remember what Father Arno said when you took the empty metallic box from the dispensary's back yard bedroom area?
  • 8 of 19: He said it used to contain photographic paper. Maybe Maria has a photo developing room somewhere.
  • 9 of 19: Since the empty photo paper box was in her bedroom, try looking there.
  • 10 of 19: Look on the wall to the right of the bed to find a door that you can open if you can find its handle. (It's near the middle of the door's left edge.)
  • 11 of 19: The door leads to the photo developing room, but it's probably too dark for you to do anything in it.
  • 12 of 19: In the developing room, look at the devices on the table to see if anything might shed some new light on Janos' letter.
  • 13 of 19: The lit-up photo tray that has a photo of Maria setting on it might work once you get it cleaned off.
  • 14 of 19: Get Janos' letter from inventory and use it on the light tray, then click for a close-up view of it.
  • 15 of 19: Carefully examine the message to see if you can find anything interesting.
  • 16 of 19: Scanning it visually or with the mouse cursor, you'll find that there are tiny holes in the paper underneath some letters.
  • 17 of 19: After you realize that the secret message is a list of chemicals, you'll need to figure out what to use them for.
  • 18 of 19: Your inventory will refuse to admit it, but the tiny item you picked up with the tweezers is a bit of microfilm.
  • 19 of 19: Getting a close-up view of the photo that you make from the microfilm will finish this objective.
