Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints

Thoroughly search Maria's room: check the drawers, observe the paintings.

  • 1 of 16: This is an objective that you'll get after you finish "Do my best to discover all the secrets of the letter addressed to Janos ...."
  • 2 of 16: It'll be crossed out right away if you've already done everything that's required in the dispensary area's back bedroom.
  • 3 of 16: If not, go back there and look around for drawer- and painting-related things you haven't done yet.
  • 4 of 16: Start by checking the drawers in the bedroom's dresser.
  • 5 of 16: Open each drawer and click on its contents to see if you can find anything interesting. If not, close the drawer and try another one.
  • 6 of 16: In the bottom drawer, you'll find a locked case underneath the clothes when you move them.
  • 7 of 16: Father Arno will say that there's something about the case in Martha's letters, so check them.
  • 8 of 16: Go to your "Documents" page and look for an item labeled "Martha - Letters."
  • 9 of 16: Check page 5 of those letters to learn that the key to finding the case's four-digit combo is in the order of the paintings on the wall.
  • 10 of 16: However, if you look at the wall above the dresser, Father Arno will note that the paintings have been moved recently.
  • 11 of 16: Once they're back in order, examine all four of them carefully to see if you can find anything numeric on all of them that'll tell you the case's combo.
  • 12 of 16: Enter the combo of 4-7-6-8 into the case to open it.
  • 13 of 16: Move the three trinkets aside so you can examine the hospital logbook.
  • 14 of 16: Close its view to get it moved aside, allowing you to take a key with a tag on it.
  • 15 of 16: If taking the key doesn't complete the objective, then you apparently didn't examine all of the paintings.
  • 16 of 16: You'll need to at least find the missing painting, put it back on the wall, and click the eye cursor on all four paintings to get close-ups of them. (There's no need to put them in order if you already know the case's combination.)
