Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
How can I get the paintings back to their original locations?
of 14: TIP: Go to the options menu and temporarily increase the game's brightness setting to the max to help you see.
of 14: Looking around, you'll see two paintings hanging near the head of the bed, and one hanging to the left of the spot above the dresser where a painting was obviously removed.
of 14: Since the case has a four-digit combo, there's clearly a painting missing.
of 14: Examine all four paintings to see if you can figure out whether they're in their original spots or not.
of 14: To do that, you'll need to use the magnifying glass.
of 14: While looking at a painting's close-up view, use the magnifying glass to look around the frame.
of 14: If you see any light-colored parts of the wall forming a sort of outline around the frame, then the picture is definitely not in its original location.
of 14: However, not seeing such a light-colored border around a picture's frame doesn't necessarily mean that it's in the right place. It may be bigger than the painting that should go in that place.
of 14: Before you go any further with this, you'll need to know how to switch two paintings.
of 14: Hang the "Gymnosophist" painting above the head of the bed, the "St. Sebastian" painting above the side of the bed, the "The Funeral of Patroclus" painting to the left of the dresser, and the "Martha and Maria" painting over the dresser.
