Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
How can I figure out which buttons to push?
of 16: NOTE: This puzzle's reset mechanism is the gold bowl. Pick it up and then put it back in its slot to get all the buttons to pop out again.
of 16: There's a clue engraved on the gold bowl.
of 16: To read it, go to your documents page and click on the "Bowl" document, then point the cursor at the words you can see near the top of the bowl picture.
of 16: The clue says that three engraved stelae will give the six numbers used on the puzzle's dial (meaning the circle of stone buttons).
of 16: By "stelae," it refers to the three nearby headstone-like objects.
of 16: Well, two nearby ones, anyway. One of them is missing.
of 16: The missing one is being used as a bridge to cross the stream.
of 16: The two stelae near the chapel mention Vlad I and Vlad III, so 1 and 3 are apparently important numbers.
of 16: The bridge stele refers to Lord Mircea XIII, so 13 is also a relevant number.
of 16: But that's not all. Notice that you can click the gear cursor on the bridge stele.
of 16: Do so to find that Duke Alexander VIII is mentioned on its other side.
of 16: So we have, in numerical order, the numbers 1, 3, 8, and 13. But we need six numbers, not just four!
of 16: You'll need to figure out the two missing numbers using the four numbers you're given.
