What happens if I decide to do things that way?
1 of 6: A big combat will start up in which Witherfang, Swiftrunner, and several werewolves attack you.
2 of 6: After you kill them all, loot Witherfang to get his heart, which is a magic amulet.
3 of 6: Loot the two sarcophagi in the room, plus the rubble in the west side passage.
4 of 6: Go down the east side passage to find a treasure pile and a door that leads back to the ruins' upper level.
5 of 6: You'll find Zathrian waiting for you in the large chamber to the south.
6 of 6: Talk to him and say you got Witherfang's heart, then choose to return to the Dalish camp to finish up.
