Dragon Age: Origins Hints
How do I use the statues?
of 10: The four ritual notes refer to a sword lowered, a spear raised, a vessel in hand, and a sword raised.
of 10: If you examine the three statues along the common room's west wall, you'll see that they fit the descriptions of (in north-to-south order) sword raised, sword lowered, and vessel in hand.
of 10: There's no spear-raised statue nearby, so play on until you clear out the rest of the floor.
of 10: You'll find another interactive statue in the large central chamber, though it doesn't look like it has a spear raised.
of 10: Check the last note you got to see what order to examine the statues in.
of 10: It lists the "vessel in hand" statue first, so go to the common room and right-click on its southern statue's hotspot. (Nothing will appear to happen, but it still counts.)
of 10: The next one listed is the "sword raised" statue, so right-click on the common room's northern statue's hotspot.
of 10: Next is the "sword lowered" statue, so right-click on the common room's central statue's hotspot.
of 10: There's only one statue left, "spear raised" or not, so return to the central chamber and right-click on its statue's hotspot.
of 10: If you did it right, you'll get a journal update.
