How can I get her cell open?

  • 1 of 11: You'll need to find and kill the wizard who created the door's enchantment.
  • 2 of 11: Go down the hallway and check the north room for a codex-giving book, then go east through a dining room to reach another hallway.
  • 3 of 11: WARNING: Don't open that hall's first north door, or a guard will sound the alarm.
  • 4 of 11: Have your rogue unlock the south door at the east end of the hall so you can loot three treasure piles, a chest, and a vase.
  • 5 of 11: Go through the hall's north door, then check the arl's bedroom for a codex-giving book and a chest that contains special Grey Warden documents.
  • 6 of 11: Open the door west of the bedroom to get a conversation with a fellow Grey Warden named Riordan.
  • 7 of 11: After asking him where Howe is, ask him about the papers you found.
  • 8 of 11: After he leaves, use the nearby area transition doorway to enter the dungeon.
  • 9 of 11: When you open the first door, a guard will talk to you. No matter what you say, he and the other guards will attack. (Note that your disguises will be automatically replaced with your regular armor.)
  • 10 of 11: Back up a bit to fight the guards, then continue on through the dungeon until you find and grind Arl Howe.
  • 11 of 11: After exiting the dungeon, go straight back to Anora's cell and right-click on the door to open it.
