Notices of Death

  • 1 of 11: This is one of the quests on the Denerim box's job board.
  • 2 of 11: You're to deliver notices to four women regarding their dead husbands.
  • 3 of 11: When you find one of the women, talk to her about a letter from the Blackstone Irregulars.
  • 4 of 11: Two of the women are in Denerim, so you might as well visit them first.
  • 5 of 11: Sara is in the Market District, along its west side. Check the area map for a "!" symbol marking her location.
  • 6 of 11: Next, use the city map to travel to the dirty back alley area. (Note that you'll visit the same area on the "Back Alley Justice" quest to kill a group of thugs.)
  • 7 of 11: Look for Tania along the area's south side, using the area map if you need help locating her.
  • 8 of 11: Visit the Lake Calenhad Docks next, and find Larana in the inn.
  • 9 of 11: The fourth and final widow you need to visit is in Redcliffe Village. You'll want to put off going there until you're ready to start on the Redcliffe Treaty Quests, since some of them need to be completed before you leave the village.
  • 10 of 11: When you get there, talk to Irenia in the Village Chantry and hand over her letter.
  • 11 of 11: After you do them all, talk to any of the Blackstone Liaison guys to get 1 gold coin.
