What can I do with the altar?
1 of 6: You can mark it as a mystical site of power if you've gotten the Mages' Collective's "Places of Power" quest.
2 of 6: If you got the "Asunder" quest in Caridin's Cross (see its East Optional Tunnel Tips), you can finish it here.
3 of 6: Right-click on the altar and choose to place the body parts on it.
4 of 6: Doing so will restore a very large and powerful Fade beast.
5 of 6: Choose in dialogue whether you'd rather try to kill it for XP or let it go.
6 of 6: If you let it go, you'll get 25 gold and 50 silver as a reward. That'll probably be worth a lot more to you than some hard-to-get XP and cheap loot.
