Dragon Age: Origins Hints
Find the Shield of Aeducan.
1 of 12: Go south to where the walkway is blocked, then look to the west for a passage you can enter.
2 of 12: Move down the passage to find a giant spider followed by some genlocks to fight. (Watch out for a trap in their area.)
3 of 12: Look for a dwarf corpse to loot near the genlock fight, then go west to a crossroads area.
4 of 12: Talk to Frandlin Ivo to get him to join you, then check out the three passages that lead off to the south.
5 of 12: The western one leads to a dead end, and the central one leads to some optional deep stalker combat and a dwarf corpse to loot.
6 of 12: Go down the eastern passage to reach a room with genlocks (and traps) and a couple of treasure chests, then take the hard-to-see SW passage.
7 of 12: After meeting up with a scout, go down the west passage until you reach a cave with several genlocks in it, including a more powerful genlock alpha.
8 of 12: Hang back and quickly hack up the ones that come after you, then charge the archers. After they're down, raid the locked chest in their room.
9 of 12: The next thing you come to is the door to the Aeducan Thaig. After a brief cut-scene, go through the door and check to the left for a lootable dwarf corpse.
10 of 12: Cross the curvy stone bridge to reach an area with several mercenaries.
11 of 12: After the combat is over, loot all of the bodies to find various items, including an Aeducan Signet Ring on the captain. There are also some containers to loot.
