1 of 4: You get this quest by taking the item of the same name from a sack in the Bone Pit Mines. See the "The Bone Pit" secondary quest for more details.
2 of 4: Travel to the Viscount's Keep on the Kirkwall Day map, then go down to Aveline's home base area.
3 of 4: Look in the north side room for Guardsman Eustice.
4 of 4: Talk to her to turn the pommel over and get 1 gold coin and 750 XP.
