Dragon Age II Hints
The Bone Pit Mines
1 of 7: As soon as you enter the mines, you'll be attacked by a small dragon and several dragonlings.
2 of 7: After you kill and loot them, check their room for a pile of bones, refined lyrium, and lootable rubble, then go up the stairs next to where you started and through a doorway.
3 of 7: Go up two more sets of stairs, watching for a crate between them, then move into the next area to trigger an attack by another dragon and several dragonlings. Run your party back through the last doorway and make the dragons come to you, then go back to their room to finish off any stragglers.
4 of 7: Loot the sack and rubble in their room, then go up some stairs and through another doorway to find several more dragonlings. These don't have a bigger dragon with them, so they shouldn't be a problem.
5 of 7: After thrashing them, loot the sack to get the "Eustice's Pommel" side quest before heading up the stairs.
6 of 7: Look for a deep mushroom on the right, then go up the next stairs and kill a couple of dragonlings. On past them is some lootable rubble and a fleeing miner who'll talk to you briefly.
7 of 7: Not far past him is the mine exit. Before you use it, look around for a pile of bones and a crate. Also quicksave, since there's a mature dragon waiting for you outside.
