Herbalist's Tasks

  • 1 of 8: After getting the "Wayward Son" main plot quest, travel to the Gallows region on the Kirkwall Day map. Go to the market area south of the courtyard and talk to Solivitus at his stall to get this quest.
  • 2 of 8: He wants three things, two of which can be gotten while doing other secondary quests.
  • 3 of 8: You'll get the spider silk gland on the "Magistrate's Orders" quest and the dragon fang on the "The Bone Pit" quest.
  • 4 of 8: As for the rare ironbark, you'll have to talk to Master Ilen at the Dalish camp on Sundermount about that.
  • 5 of 8: After asking him about the ironbark, you can use a map exit to travel to the new Ironbark Clearing region.
  • 6 of 8: Move NE until some hurlocks attack, then move around the area until some more attack. Eventually, an ogre will show up, so watch for it and get everyone on it right away.
  • 7 of 8: After they're all down, the ironbark you're after will become interactive. Go over to the east side of the area and take it, then search around for a corpse and some lootable rubble before leaving.
  • 8 of 8: Go back to the Gallows and talk to Solivitus to finish the quest and get 3 gold coins.
