Solution to Barrel Puzzle #1
1 of 3: Mentally number the spaces in each row from 1 to 4 in left-to-right order. Call the top row T and the bottom row B.
2 of 3: Using that system, the empty space in the puzzle's starting configuration is T4, since it's the fourth space from the left on the top row.
3 of 3: In the move list below, the puzzle space that you need to click on is represented in the two-digit form described above. Do all the moves in order. (Note that they're listed in three separate rows for the sake of visual convenience.)
