Dragon Age II Hints
To Catch a Thief
1 of 8: You'll get this quest when you finish "Following the Qun" if Isabela became a companion back in Act I.
2 of 8: Go to the Hawke Estate to find Aveline and Isabela arguing. Aveline wants you to get going on the "Demands of the Qun" quest right away, and Isabela wants you to do this quest first. Unless you're okay with losing Isabela as a companion, choose to help her first.
3 of 8: With Isabela in your party, travel to Lowtown at night and go down to the Foundry District to find some qunari waiting for you.
4 of 8: They'll attack when you approach them. Take down all the weaker qunari first, then focus everyone's attacks on the powerful sten guy.
5 of 8: After it's over, Isabela will reveal that the artifact she's after is the same one the Arishok wants. You can tell her to return it to the qunari to get a rivalry increase, or you can say you'll let her keep it to get a friendship increase.
6 of 8: You'll be taken inside the Lost-End Foundry, where some qunari and Tevinters will start fighting each other. Run your characters back into the entry room and wait for enemies to come after you.
7 of 8: Once there's only a few left, you can run in and finish them off, or stay out of sight and let them keep fighting each other. After it's over, go up the stairs in the main room and look around for loot.
