How do I get out of the boiler room?
1 of 14: When I first got in the room, it seemed like the door out was locked. But that's not the real reason you're stuck in here.
2 of 14: Take a look to the right of the boiler itself, and you'll notice that it gets a bit dark back there.
3 of 14: If you had a light source, you might be able to see your way into the main part of the hotel.
4 of 14: You're going to have to assemble something with the parts available here.
5 of 14: When Zoë takes a closer look at the ignition switch on the boiler (the little red button), she will comment that it's sort of like a lighter.
6 of 14: Now all you need is something to light.
7 of 14: Take a look at the workbenches -- and you'll find something that ignites easily.
8 of 14: The second can from the left has gasoline ("petrol") in it.
9 of 14: There's also a rag on the bench. You might think you could dip the rag in the can, but then, you'd have no way of holding onto it when it ignited.
10 of 14: Fortunately, you made a nice handle for your impromptu torch on your way into the basement.
11 of 14: The axe broke into pieces -- and you can get the handle part off the floor near the window.
12 of 14: Go into your inventory and combine the rag and handle to create a torch.
13 of 14: Now, you can dip the torch into the can.
14 of 14: Use the torch on the boiler's ignition switch to get a lit torch. This will let you open the door that's just beyond the boiler, and you can go onto the next room.
