Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern Hints
How can I cook the food?
of 14: When you used the combining rock, you were not far away from a fire pit. That seems like a good place to cook a fish.
of 14: A cold fire pit won't do the job -- you'll need to build a fire.
of 14: It won't be possible to place the food directly on the fire...
of 14: ...however, it is possible to make your own "hot stove" to cook the fish on.
of 14: Notice the mid-size stone between Toar and the fire?
of 14: If you could heat up the stone enough, you could use it to cook the fish.
of 14: The game won't allow you to lift the stone with your bare hands...
of 14: ...but you can use the stick in front of the fire to move the stone into the fire. Note: When you are holding the stick at the rock, do not use the tip of the stick on the rock -- instead, use the cursor, located roughly in the middle of the stick.
of 14: Wait a moment while the stone heats up...
of 14: ... then use the stick to move the stone off the fire again.
of 14: Place the fish on the hot stone, then wait a bit for the salmon to grill.
of 14: If you wish, you can turn the salmon to grill the other side.
of 14: Remember when Toar gave you the marcasite? It was just after Arok offered something to Toar.
of 14: Be sure to share the salmon with Toar. Toar also asks for some camomile tea to accompany the fish, so why not be a friend, and make him some?
