The Egyptian Prophecy: The Fate of Ramses Hints
How do I solve the hieroglyph puzzle?
of 14: Before the puzzle can be solved, it will first need to be activated.
of 14: Once you have a clear image of what the finished puzzle should look like, the next step is in lining up the three pieces so that the images in each column match.
of 14: Look for the wavy line first (which could be a cartoon-ish representation of water). The wavy line is split between two columns of the cartouche.
of 14: Move the columns left (or right) until the two columns of the cartouche that each display half of the wavy line are on the far left column of the puzzle and the center column of the puzzle.
of 14: Next, use the button at the bottom of the left cobra (or at the bottom of the right cobra), to move the left column down (or the center and right columns down). Continue moving the column(s) down until the wavy lines are side-by-side.
of 14: Next, move the columns of the cartouche to the right (click the eye of the right cobra), so that the columns displaying the wavy line are located in the center column and the far right column.
of 14: Use the oval under the right cobra to move the two columns down until they are in the correct position on the cartouche.
of 14: Notice how the cartouche is an oval shape? The individual puzzle pieces must fit the oval.
of 14: Look carefully at the right edge of the right-most column. You should see some indentations, which indicate the top and bottom edges of the puzzle.
of 14: Move the two columns down (with the oval button under the cobra on the right) until the indentations correctly fill in the top and bottom edges of the puzzle. The wavy line should be located in the second row (from the top) of the two columns.
of 14: Finally, move the left-most row (by using the oval button under the cobra on the left) until the indentations along the left edge of that column correctly fill in the top and bottom edges of the left side of the puzzle. If the center and right-most columns are already correct, then when the left-most column is correctly set, the crypt door will automatically re-open.
