The Egyptian Prophecy: The Fate of Ramses Hints

How can I restore the drawing on the coping?

  • 1 of 14: Make sure that you come up close enough to the nilometer that you could look down into the waters of the nilometer.
  • 2 of 14: If you do that (from the side farthest away from where you met the little girl), you should see some kind of drawing etched into the stone at the edge of the well.
  • 3 of 14: However, the drawing has been eroded in some manner.
  • 4 of 14: This must be the coping that the little girl referred to -- and asked you to restore.
  • 5 of 14: What steps might be necessary to restore this bas relief drawing?  Perhaps there is someone in the area who knows a thing or two about art.
  • 6 of 14: Have you talked with the basket weaver recently?
  • 7 of 14: He's not going to get up and go look at the coping.  You'll need to find another way to explain it to him more clearly.
  • 8 of 14: He asked you for a papyrus that reproduces what's left of the design.
  • 9 of 14: Take this drawing and show it to the basket weaver.  Once you've talked with him, he will tell you what he will need.
  • 10 of 14: He says that he needs an egg.
  • 11 of 14: Give the egg to the basket weaver.  When you do, he will ask for a calamus.
  • 12 of 14: Give him the calamus that you used back in Aswan, when you copied out the healing formula for Paser.  He will complete the drawing.
  • 13 of 14: Finally, take the papyrus to the coping, and "use" it there.
  • 14 of 14: Click on the shiny spot on the papyrus to receive the sacred recipient.
