What should I buy at the shop?
1 of 5: There are a couple of books you need, but you only have enough money for one right now.
2 of 5: While you're waiting for the money to arrive, you might as well buy one of the books you need. You won't need the sketchbook till later in the game, and it really doesn't matter which of the other two books you buy first, so please yourself. Talk to Mrs. Hughes to find out what's available.
3 of 5: There are also two items on the chemist counter that you can take now: a little tool on the counter that the game calls a spatula, and a red bottle of cough syrup on one of the shelves.
