How do I use the lab equipment in the shop?
1 of 5: First, you'll need to help the postmistress find the missing mail.
2 of 5: When you have something to analyze (like the unnamed pills you took from Stephen Lane's medicine chest), come here to find out what they are. The process is a little complicated; a step-by-step follows.
3 of 5: 1. Put the item in a test tube. Each item has only one test tube it will fit in, so click till you find the right one.
4 of 5: 2. Open the book on the counter titled "The Chemist's Friend." All you can see is the table of contents, but that's all you need.
5 of 5: 3. Pick up the filled test tube and click it on the title in the table of contents you think it belongs to. For example, click the pills from Stephen Lane's bathroom on the table of contents heading "Drugs" and click the bloody chicken feathers from the monastery on "Blood." If nothing happens, try one of the other headings till you get the right one.
