Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Skill Training
of 10: Your first task is to shoot all three stationary targets.
of 10: This is very easy since all you have to do is lock onto them and then fire an arrow. (Note that you'll need to pull back on the bow a little before firing so the arrow will hit hard enough to count.)
of 10: The second part has the three targets moving left and right, with farther-away targets being worth more points.
of 10: When you start pulling back on your first arrow, hit the 1st/3rd Person button to switch to a view with a crosshairs so you can aim better. You can also use the Zoom key (= in the PC) to help.
of 10: NOTE: You can't move around while your view is in 1st person mode, but you can switch off 1st person mode while the bow is pulled and then move where you want to, then switch 1st person mode back on and fire.
of 10: When you're in position and your view is set, pull back and hold each arrow while aiming at where you plant to hit a target, then release the arrow at just the right time so that it hits the target when it arrives at that spot.
of 10: TIP: The target in the back is worth the most points, so you might want to set your aim at the open spot over on the right where it periodically appears and shoot only it. If that's too hard, shoot the middle target several times to help make up for it. Remember that the power of your shot helps determine how many points you get.
of 10: As before, you can repeat your training in order to get better, and you should until you can score well on the moving target test. Why? Because another grading guy will show up soon after the Guildmaster moves on to the will training area.
of 10: This one will give you a yew crossbow if you can get an A+, which requires about 150 points. I found it fairly easy to score over 200 points since I'd repeated the Guildmaster's practice session a couple of times and gotten the hang of it.
of 10: NOTE: After you finish skill training, you can also take on a bonus evil-aligned assignment.
