Final Test

  • 1 of 7: After you talk to the Guildmaster and choose to begin, he'll tell you to go into the woods.
  • 2 of 7: Do so to start the final test, in which you basically practice your melee, bow, and magic skills on Maze.
  • 3 of 7: He teleports around periodically, but doesn't fight back, so just keep catching up to him and using whatever attack he wants you to until he moves you on to the next stage.
  • 4 of 7: He starts out asking you to use melee attacks on him, so bring out your sword and quickly hack him. If he teleports before you're done, just chase him down and continue.
  • 5 of 7: Whack him seven times, then shoot him with the bow seven times, then start hitting him with magic lightning.
  • 6 of 7: After you zap him with lightning for the seventh time, Maze will pronounce you finished and leave.
  • 7 of 7: TIP: During the melee and magic portions, you can shoot Maze repeatedly with the bow to gain skill XP. If you have the patience, take the time to rack up a few thousand XP! (Note that you have to be pretty far away from him in order for arrow hits to get you any XP.)
