Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints

Bounty Hunt

  • 1 of 9: This quest appears on the guild map table after you finish the Gold Quest called "The Graveyard Path."
  • 2 of 9: Whether you take a boast on this quest or not, go to Lookout Point and move toward the exit to the Greatwood Entrance in order to get a woman to appear and talk to you about the quest briefly.
  • 3 of 9: Then enter the Greatwood Entrance and hack up the bandits who stayed behind there, then head to Fisher Creek to rescue the first hostage.
  • 4 of 9: This hostage is in no real danger, so just kill off the bandits however you want to.
  • 5 of 9: After that hostage is safely released, head down to the Greatwood Lake area and hack the bandits that attack you when you first enter.
  • 6 of 9: The bandit leader and the second and final hostage are up the little dead-end path that goes west from near the exit to Greatwood Entrance.
  • 7 of 9: When you get to a certain distance from the bandit leader, he'll warn you off. If you go any further, he'll kill the hostage.
  • 8 of 9: So hit him with a nice ranged attack (arrow or spell). If you're good with a bow, you may even be able to behead him (which is a boast you could have taken for this quest).
  • 9 of 9: Then kill off any remaining bandits in the area to make the second hostage safe and finish the quest (and get a valuable treasure clue for the Hidden Booty Hunt quest).
