Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Project X-13

  • 1 of 9: You'll get this quest at the same time you get the last objective of the "X-13: Attack of the Infiltrator!" main quest. There won't be anything to do on this quest until after you finish that one.
  • 2 of 9: Loot the reward safe to get your reward for passing the basic test, then check the test terminal again to see that you can replay the basic infiltration test or play an advanced version of it.
  • 3 of 9: Choose the advanced version to start the new test, which works just like the last one except there are also laser tripwires that'll cause the test to fail if you touch them.
  • 4 of 9: Each laser tripwire has an emitter that you can hack or disable if you see it in time -- and if you've got 50 or more points in either your Science or Repair skill.
  • 5 of 9: As with the basic test, you can "cheat" by preparing ahead of time. In this case, that means going around and hacking all of the laser tripwire emitters before starting the advanced test. (Also, destroy all the turrets and robobrains if you haven't already.)
  • 6 of 9: After all the emitters are hacked, use the test terminal to start the advanced test, then just run through to the administrator's office using the usual route.
  • 7 of 9: Get the document from the wall safe to finish the test, then return to the test terminal and start up the expert-level test (after getting your reward for the advanced test from the reward safe).
  • 8 of 9: Go get your reward from the testing room's reward safe, then use the terminal to start the fourth and final test: robot compliance.
  • 9 of 9: Finishing that test will finish the quest. Your Stealth Suit Mk II will be fully upgraded, and you can claim a Sneak skill book from the testing room's reward safe.
