Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Villa East Side Tour

  • 1 of 11: Go all the way back to the starting area with the talkative fountain hologram, then go down the east street. At the path intersection, look around for misc. loot, then go north and look for several chips on the ground as well as a footlocker and first aid kit near the NW corner. There may also be a radroach scuttling about the area.
  • 2 of 11: Enter the small hologram-run gift shop and grab up all the loot, including the vending machine code for returning outfits that's in the cash register.
  • 3 of 11: Head up the stairs in the gift shop and look around for more loot, then return to the gift shop and go back south to the path intersection.
  • 4 of 11: Go south at the path intersection and check the room past the blue door on the south wall for supplies, and look on the wall to the left of the door for some cloud residue.
  • 5 of 11: Sneak along the street with the holorifle out until you can sneak-shoot a ghost with it. Quickly run up to the ghost and hack it with a knife, then go back the way you came to find a small fountain with some cloud residue on the ground next to it. There's more cloud residue on a nearby wall.
  • 6 of 11: Go east to the next path split area, then look in the side area south of the signpost for some drained microfusion cells. In the area south of that, look for a laser pistol and some energy cells on the ground near the tree, then explore the side area past the door that's to the left of the vending machine.
  • 7 of 11: Head north from the vending machine area until you find a small side room with a workbench and some supplies in it (including a Repair skill magazine). Make yourself a cosmic clean knife and a couple of weapon repair kits, then head east to find a small fountain with several chips on it. Across from that fountain is a gate leading to a large side area.
  • 8 of 11: Go east from the fountain and gate to enter a small plaza-like area with the door to the Salida del Sol region in it. There are a couple of side areas with misc. supplies, and there's another "ghost" character in the area to the south. Due to the trap tripwire that's strung across the entrance to the ghost's area, it's best to lure it out and blast it with a shotgun instead of sniping it down and running in to hack it.
  • 9 of 11: After sneaking up on and disabling the tripwire, look around for a few items, then go through the door in the east wall. Check the wooden shelves on the right for bobby pins and a hat, then look behind them for more stuff that includes a Dean's secret stash briefcase.
  • 10 of 11: There's a locked cash register on a counter that requires a Lockpick skill of anywhere from 50 to 100 to open (depending on your level). Fortunately, it just has the same stuff in it that the unlocked cash register in the hologram vendor's gift shop did.
  • 11 of 11: Don't neglect to look in a little under-the-counter space near the register for some chips and pre-war money. There's also some ammo in the narrow space between the counter and the east wall.
