Long 15 Tips
1 of 6: Go to the Mojave Outpost (a long way almost directly south of the Canyon Wreckage location), then find the large fence gate at its SW end.
2 of 6: Before you use the gate to enter the Long 15 area, prepare yourself for some really hard radiation. Note that Ulysses' Mask is very useful to wear, especially if you also wear armor that increases your rad resistance.
3 of 6: You'll also have fights with NCR trooper ghouls to look forward to. Many of them are like standard feral ghouls with armor, but the irradiated heavy troopers can still attack you with guns.
4 of 6: There's a unique ghoul named Colonel Royez who has a plasma caster, a huge amount of health, and a very rapid health regeneration effect. He'll be utterly impossible to kill unless you use a powerful automatic weapon (such as the unique minigun) with armor-piercing rounds and/or some *serious* explosives.
5 of 6: You'll find him near one of the crashed vertibirds a bit west and a ways south from the gate that leads back to the Mojave Outpost. Try not to get his attention until you've killed off all of the other ghouls, then lay some explosive traps for him and blast him fast! (Or use the Old World Blues' Sonic Emitter with the tarantula calibration and hope you get lucky.)
6 of 6: Once all the ghouls are dead, take your time and look all around the area for loot. There are a lot of ammo boxes and military shipping crates with great stuff in them -- *much* more than the usual ammo boxes and crates have.
