Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Courier's Mile Tips
1 of 7: There'll be lots of hard radiation, so be prepared with plenty of rad-x, radaways, and radiation-resistant gear. (Note that you might want to put off exploring this region until after you finish the quest series, at which time you'll get a unique breathing mask that gives a tremendous amount of radiation resistance.)
2 of 7: Not far past the entrance, look to the right to find a military shipping crate, plus a ruined crate with a stealth boy on top of it.
3 of 7: A short way NE of that is a lamp post with the unique bowie knife called Blood-Nap stuck into it near the bottom.
4 of 7: As you move farther into the area, you'll start encountering hard radiation, as well as quite a few irradiated marked men and deathclaws.
5 of 7: The marked men and deathclaws aren't hostile to each other for some reason, so don't count on them killing each other off. Also, watch out for several of them converging on your location all at once. You'll probably need to use stealth boys along with powerful silenced weapons and mine clusters to deal with them.
6 of 7: Make sure the whole area is clear of hostiles before going around and looking for loot. There are a whole lot of loot containers scattered about, and there are warheads near the north and south ends of the area that you can detonate.
7 of 7: TIP: Instead of burning through your radaway supply to keep your rads down while loot-hunting, fast-travel to the Hopeville Missile Base Headquarters building every now and then and use its auto-doc to remove all your rads.
