Tips and Notes
1 of 5: Be sure to loot the yao guai after killing them to get yao guai meat, which will add 10% to your damage for a short time when consumed.
2 of 5: Move around in the Spine area (or fast-travel to it) until Follows-Chalk's follower perk activates and gives you a temporary +3 to Perception.
3 of 5: If you want to fight and loot a couple of White Legs guys, go back to the path split and head around the north loop.
4 of 5: Note that one or two Dead Horse guys may show up when the White Legs attack. If so, don't fire on them since they're friendly.
5 of 5: If you follow the Dead Horse guys around after the combat is over, they may actually walk off a cliff and kill themselves. If you can get around to where their bodies are, you can loot them (though that probably isn't worth the trouble).
